Week 16: Social Media Management Tools

After doing some research on social media management tools that will help keep my social media under better control I found the following information:

Buffer:

Buffer integrates with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and Pinterest. Social media posts can be customized for each platform and then sent out to all platforms at once. Buffer can also automatically publish social media posts at predetermined times. Buffer has a browser extension and mobile apps so that users can share and create social media posts from anywhere. Buffer also provides advanced analytics to track social media performance and see weekly or monthly results. Buffer offers a free plan, $15, $99, $199, and $399 per month. They also offer a 14-day free trial.

Hootsuite:

Hootsuite offers various functionalities for measurement and reporting purposes, such as tools for team collaboration, audience engagement, analytics, and account security. This solution is suitable for businesses of all sizes. Hootsuite allows users to manage several contributors and share data and access rights without the sharing of passwords. Hootsuite offers a free plan, $29, $129, $599 per month, and enterprise pricing. They also offer a 30-day free trial.

Sprout Social:

Sprout Social helps users manage interactions by turning messages into tasks, assigning them to specific people, and allowing team members to collaborate on the assigned tasks. Sprout Social's social media publishing functionality automates the process of scheduling social media content and managing content approval for the content before publishing. By using Sprout Social's reporting and social media analytics functionalities, users can monitor the social media performance of the brand across various platforms. Sprout Social offers plans for $99, $149, and $249 per user per month. They also offer a 30-day free trial.

Overall from the social media management tools above, I think that Hootsuite offers the best value for its price. Hootsuite is one of the biggest social media management tools and is used by over 15 million people. There’s a good reason for their success. With Hootsuite being an all-in-one platform it allows you to curate and schedule content, measure your social ROI, run social media ads, and much more.

  1. Hello Anthony,

Your explanations were beyond helpful and well written they tell us the information we need to know in a shortened form. I'm glad that you were able to determine which of these tools would be most beneficial to you. Hootsuite sounds like it would be helpful for a lot of businesses but to me it seems a bit pricy, I would be interested to see the price per year.

  2. There are so many of these social media management tools out there. It boggles the mind. I am not good at decisions, so I think I would just stick to one of the original tool: Hootsuite.
